UAE: Power of Attorney for Filing Trademark Application
UAE Trademark Registry has announced that legalized Power of Attorney for Filing Trademark Application can be submitted within 90 days from the filing date. However, an undertaking or a scanned copy of the signed Power of Attorney needs to be filed along with the application.

Saudi Arabia: Reduction of Trademark Publication Fee
The Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property (SAIP) has announced an official fee reduction for the publication of trademarks with effect from June 9, 2022. By way of background, trademark applications and recordals are published electronically in the Official Gazette upon acceptance. Oppositions may be filed within 60 days from the publication date.
